Web Hosting Control Panels

This week software developer SWsoft announced that it had begun testing new version of Plesk Control Panel, – Plesk 8.0 for Linux and Unix. According to company it is the most significant upgrade to Plesk in last 2 years. The new Plesk 8.0 includes many new features that include customizable interface temples, domain aliases and improved integration with Virtuozzo. It is expected to be launched at the end of March.

Rival Ensim also announced upgrades to its CP. The company it has integrated support for VoIP technology in its Ensim Unify. The software will be demonstrated at the Spring VON Conference and Expo in March.

Another hosting software developer, a UK company Resellerspanel said it has launched Control Panel v1.0 RC1.

Other companies developing hosting software such as Host Color, SCPanel, also a annaunced new releases of software applications related to web hosting.

Host Color sais they added Multi Domain hosting capabilities to Next Color control panel and now testing the new add-ons.

SCPanel released version 1.3 of their flagship SHOUTcast control panel. It is designed to allow hosting providers, the ability to provide Shoutcast streaming services, for audio and video, streaming or on-demand.
